Tulenkey expresses disappointment over VGMAs snub for Best Rap Performance nomination

 



Tulenkey, a Ghanaian rapper, expressed his disappointment over not receiving a nomination for Best Rap Performance at the 2022 

Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs). He took to social media to express his frustration, stating that despite releasing several hit songs, including "Point of View," "Undertaker," "Child Abuse," and "Forever '96," he did not receive a single nomination for the prestigious award.

The VGMAs, which are held annually, are considered one of the most significant events in Ghana's music industry. 


The awards celebrate the achievements of Ghanaian musicians and reward them for their hard work and dedication. 


The Best Rap Performance award is one of the most coveted awards, recognizing artists who have excelled in the rap genre.



Tulenkey has been active in the music industry since 2018 and has released several hit songs that have gained popularity in Ghana and beyond. 


His unique style and lyrical prowess have earned him a dedicated fan base, and many people were surprised that he did not receive a nomination for Best Rap Performance at the VGMAs.



In his social media post, Tulenkey expressed his disappointment and frustration at not receiving a nomination, saying that he had been dropping the hardest rap joints since he entered the industry. 


He felt that his efforts were not appreciated and that his hard work had gone unnoticed.


Tulenkey's fans and supporters also expressed their disappointment on social media, stating that he deserved to be nominated for Best Rap Performance. 


They praised his talent and dedication to the music industry and called for the VGMAs to recognize his achievements.
