Marie-Claire Rupio, the wife of late Ghanaian football star Christian Atsu, shared a touching tribute to her husband on social media recently. 

Atsu was among the hundreds who lost their lives in the tragic Turkey earthquake earlier this year.

In her emotional post, Rupio expressed her deep sadness and the immense void that has been left in her life since Atsu's passing. 

She wrote, "It breaks my heart to lose you. You didn't go alone. For part of me went with you."

The couple had been married for several years and had built a life together before the unexpected tragedy. 

Atsu was known for his impressive skills on the football field and had gained a loyal fan base throughout his career. 

However, to Rupio, he was much more than just a sports star. He was her soulmate, her partner, and her best friend.

As the world continues to mourn the loss of those who were taken too soon in the Turkey earthquake, Rupio's post is a poignant reminder of the impact that these losses have on the loved ones left behind.
