"EU Goodwill Ambassador Victoria Michaels Visits Former President Kufuor to Discuss Climate Change and Sustainability"




 EU Goodwill Ambassador, Victoria Michaels, recently a visit to the former President of Ghana, His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor, to discuss issues related to climate change and sustainability. 

The meeting was an opportunity for Ms. Michaels to share her vision for promoting environmental awareness and sustainable development in Ghana, and to seek guidance from the former President on how best to achieve these goals.



During the meeting, President Kufuor congratulated Ms. Michaels on her appointment as EU Goodwill Ambassador and expressed his confidence in her ability to raise public awareness about ongoing EU work in Ghana. 


He emphasized the importance of addressing issues related to climate change, sustainability, circular economy and job creation in the country, and noted the significant impact that the EU's work has had in these areas.





Ms. Michaels, for her part, discussed her experiences as a climate change advocate and her previous role as EU Climate Champion.
