Mark Okraku-Mantey warns Nana Ama McBrown

Mark Okraku-Mantey warns Nana Ama McBrown over her actions on United Showbiz.

Ghana’s deputy minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku-Mantey cautions Nana Ama McBrown. He warned her about how she hosts United Showbiz on UTV.

According to him, Nana Ama McBrown allows her guests on the show peddle defamatory comments while she sat aloof. The countless allegations being leveled against others on her show are getting out of hand.

Moreover, the actress usually fails to issue a disclaimer when such statements are made. This he says would land her and the Despite Media in serious trouble if any of the victims take her on.

Meanwhile, Mark Okraku doubted Nana Ama McBrown is quite ignorant about her job as the host. However, he was sure she was ignorant in condoning such acts on her show. Besides, ignorance is not an excuse, the law says.

“Nana Ama McBrown, my sister. The job you have involved yourself, if you want to do it and do it right, please be mindful. The defamatory comments people usually say about others on the show, correct it, so we don’t come back here. I won’t say she doesn’t have enough knowledge about what she does but a lot has been said on the show that if victims want to take her on, she would go to court every day”

What she doesn’t know is if someone says such things on your show, ans you don’t issue a disclaimer, you have also done a repeated publication during the defamation. You can be sued together with Despite Media,” he said.

The deputy minister made these pronouncements during a discussion on Peace FM’S Entertainment Review Show.
